Navigating Regulatory Standards for Modern Building Design

Davies Partnership provides Part L compliance services, SBEM calculations, SAP assessments and dynamic thermal modelling for residential and non-residential developments. We help clients and design teams achieve compliance with current energy performance requirements while also supporting better building performance in use.

Specialised SBEM, SAP, and Non-Domestic Thermal Simulations

Part L compliance is a key part of modern building design, affecting energy efficiency, carbon performance, plant selection, façade decisions and wider design coordination. Our team works with projects at a range of stages, from early design advice through to formal compliance modelling and reporting.

For non-domestic buildings, we provide SBEM calculations and dynamic thermal modelling to support energy strategy, compliance and performance analysis. For residential schemes, we provide SAP assessments and related energy modelling support. We also advise on the wider design decisions that influence compliance outcomes, helping teams address issues before they affect programme or planning.

Our role is not simply to produce calculations. We use modelling to inform better design decisions, whether that means reviewing servicing strategies, identifying overheating risks, improving façade performance or supporting a lower-carbon building services approach.
